Here is a flexural strength test comparing PLA and ABS. The results are kind of surprising.

Very interesting, I always print with PLA rather than ABS due to its strength.

Try the same test with PLA and Polymax (also PLA) from Polymaker. They claim higher impact strength to regular PLA/ABS.
