The best software to slice the models is Simplify3D http://simplify3d.creativetools.se 1 . Even if its not free its well spent money. To solve the temp issue I found this Duplicator i3 nozzle temperatur : Creative Tools Helpdesk 4 and it worked on my di3. The easy way is step 8 in this guide. Change, in the printers lcd, “Configuration-Extruder” so it looks like in the step 8 picture. To save the changes do as in picture 10. I hope this helps. Best regards Magnus
John_Gervais,
From the device on the main screen/ Click Wheel>Scroll Down to Configuration Click>Scroll to Extruder Click> Scroll to bottom and PID settings are listed.
We tested with Cura connected through USB to duplicator i3. Keep in mind when you are giving your settings in Cura one of them will be temp, I find it best to use the actual device to preheat PLA/ABS and continue with my settings in Cura. After completing your desired options, choose File>Print it will connect to the device and change the temp if need (sometimes I print lower temp then preheat) and will start printing.

Google Translate yields accurate and usable instructions. It basically walks you through a PID auto tune and shows you how to get your machine’s PID parameters.
