Hello.
I’m looking to buy a Photocentric LCHR as my second 3d printer (now I have a Form2). Befor purchasing it I have few questions for those who use it.

  1. How often you have to change VAT film?
  2. What’s the print succes in procent?
  3. Which are the most common known problems with them?

Hi Paul,

I haven’t used this machine myself, but in general.

  1. I believe around 25 prints would be the maximum. The film needs to remain tight, and the pulling pressure of the build plate moving away from the film causes this to loosen. If you print many small parts, this can be helped by moving the location around on the bed instead of using the center for every print.
  2. This will depend on user error mainly. Learning orientation, density of supports, and geometry that will just not work, are key.
  3. Can’t answer this one since I haven’t used the machine.
