For my learning and under standing, i am trying to access the gcode of a .3w file from my davinci jr 1.0. I want to look at the header to see what settings are being saved from my xyzware.
The reason i am doing this, i do not know what standard speed means, or fast, or slow. i would like to see what the header sets the speed to in mm/s.
I have tried threedubber and a couple of others but have noticed that the header file is not the same as what xyzware info settings says it is. IE, xyzware states that my retract speed is at 30mm/s. where as threedubber and other decrypters show it at 15mm/s
I have tested 4 different speeds and files and still get the same result of the retrat speed being exactly half of what i have set.
I have copied the settings from the info tab in xyzware to here:
infil:10%
shells: normal
Larer height: 0.4
temp: +10
retract speed = 30mm/s
retract length 4mm
these are not all, but just the important ones i care about at the moment
here is what threedubber and another program say it is. Notice the retract speed is halfed. It does this on every file. always halfs it.
Any ideas as to why? thanks(i have posted in another forum as well)
