Any ideas of what settings & materials might work best? I can’t see filling the thing with support structures because they would be impossible to remove. Others seem to have printed it without support on a MakerBot.
It doesn’t look like too hard of a print, despite its complexity. It’s just a lot of overhangs that interconnect with each other.
Don’t use support; as you said, it would be almost impossible to remove, and from what I can tell it wouldn’t help much anyways. You just want to use print settings that work well with overhangs on the material you’re using (e.g. turn on a layer fan if you’re using PLA, but turn it off if you’re using ABS).
The structure being dense , simply deactivate the function and print will succeed . With Zortrax UP or imin, it will work quite easily with ABS filament.
