Hello, I have been printing with my Finder for a few months now and oozing appears to be a problem when I print with supports.

I have been printing pieces without supports perfectly fine, with even great distances (5, even 10 cm) between the parts having absolutely no stringing or oozing.

However, as soon as I include supports in any piece, I start to get these strings, which start from the supports and then travel wherever the nozzle goes next.

Included two pictures of recent prints, one is a controller rack with no supports and several cm distance between the parts, with retraction just fine, and the other is the bottom of a figure, with strings attaching supports and other parts. The figure’s distance between support and parts is significantly lower than on the controller rack.

My settings are default. Basically it is a if my printer was ignoring rectraction when printing supports, and using retraction with normal parts.

which slicer are you using?
