Morning all!
First off, I am COMPLETELY new to 3D printing. I have an extensive background in metal machining but now teach technology in an elementary school. I was recently given a brand new, CTC dual head printer and just started setting it up last evening.

I am sure this will be the first of many questions, but is there a reason the left nozzle is significantly higher off the print platform than the right? I searched briefly on this forum this morning, and read a few articles about shimming the heads in the carrier, but at first glance, I feel shimming is going to leave my head assembly WAY crooked. And, since I am still in the setup process, I would prefer to do things the right way the first time!!

Given this unit won’t be used in any sort of critical tolerance prototyping (probably be printing in a display area for student demonstration) I Don’t know if I will even be using both print heads, but as previously stated, would like the setup to be Proper, not just ok.

I will try to get some pics this evening

Thanks in advance!
