Anyone have any suggestion for a hub that does printing in ninjaflex or similar flexible material, preferably with a duel extruder I’m working on a 3d printed action figure but to insure the arms don’t crash with the upper torso i want to print part if not all of the upper torso in a more flexible material then rigid abs so when the arms come across the chest there is some give.
Hey @Nikolai_Crumb, where exactly are you based? In this way, we can suggest some Hubs next to you, to save you shipping costs preferably. Let me know!
Thanks! If you go to Online 3D Printing Service | Instant 3D Printing Quotes | Hubs, fill in Sacramento and choose either strong & flexible nylon or ninjaflex under Advanced Options, it should result in all the Hubs in your area who might be able to help. Here, I replicated the search for you: Online 3D Printing Service | Instant 3D Printing Quotes | Hubs. Hope it helps!

Hello Nikolai,
We have been working quite a bit with Flex filament on a single extruder. I haven’t yet combined it with other materials but the temps are comparable to abs. So far we’ve seen that an enclosed chamber with a direct drive extruder produces the best prints.
Have you attempted a print yet? If so what issues are you running into?
We are down the road from you in Fairfield and would be willing to offer any assistance that we are capable of providing.
