My son is really into 3d printing and weve been using an FDM printer for a long time, ELEGOO recently released a cheap resin printer so I thought wth? And bought one, but nothing will stick to the build plate? Not even the test print worked, the bottom layers come unstuck easily.
I’m not familiar with this machine myself but have you leveled the build plate? The first layer is most important and is usually a bit over-cured to increase adhesion.
SLA printing isn’t an easy technology to get working right. There’s a big learning curve with it.
Have you tried washing the build plate down with IPA? Making sure that it’s above 90% IPA to properly remove anything contaminating the surface.
I had the same problem initially. The solution is to adjust the settings to match the resin. In general you’ll need to increase the exposure times.
