Greetings all
I am a greenhorn when it comes to 3D printing…In the last 6 months I have taken tutorials in Youtube for Sketchup and have made 2 items to print…Now I find I want to print two items and in this webstie they want you to convert them to a format…How do I do that…I learn fast…

They probably want you to save it as an STL format, here you can see how to do that.
most slicer software need an STL to work.
Sketchup is not very good at making objects watertight for 3D printing, and to check if the solid is “watertight”, the best way is to import the STL into MeshMixer (free) it can check and repair STL’s that are not watertight.

Upload the files here, and I will convert them for you.
Or, if you want, or if the files are private, upload them to my hub, and I will take care of it. (You can use the add attachments button at the bottom of the page)

Just like xeno mentioned, after creating a model using Sketchup, the model will have common 3D printing errors. Try this plugin specifically made for SketchUp, it will fix and prepare the 3D model for 3D printing and you can download your model in STL or Obj formart
