Hi Edmonton 3D printer friends,

I am in the process of building the first professional and affordable 3D modeling program aimed at 3D printer owners. I don’t have a printer yet and need to know what your experience has been with the existing software options and what you need most. I am currently focusing on Edmonton based owners as I really want personal feedback and to start building relationships. If that interests you please message me, give me a call at seven eight zero 918 zero seven seven five. If you are tight on time or prefer giving feedback online please fill out my short survey linked below. Thanks for all your help!

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?

Sure. I am currently working as a Mechanical Engineer in Edmonton. I have had lots of experience 3D modeling and doing drawings for manufacture in ProE/Creo, Autocad and Solidworks. For the last couple years I have slowly been falling in love with coding and automating my workflow at work. I am 27 and have a small family. You can check out my blog at steventaitinger.wordpress.com for a bit more info too. As I have realized how easy it is for a programmer to make their computer do what they want I immediately started wanting to write better software! I have tested out a few different program ideas with customer feedback but 3D printing has a more viable market then what I was previously looking at. Imagining and creating things is something I am passionate about and so 3D modeling and printing is something that comes naturally for me.

Let me know if you have any specific questions! I have greatly appreciated the feedback I have received from this community so far and look forwards to continuing to target my focus towards what 3D printer owners need most.
