Im using flashforge finder and its printting fine for my use but when I try to print taller objects the bottom part is fine as usually but top part looks like its missing layers and then further it goes up more bad it goes and starts to make big web of filament. So whats wrong?
I think its layer shifting due to Z wobble
Looks like either the filament is binding up coming off the reel or the extruder has a small clog restricting flow.
Take a look at this link on Thingiverse.
My filament was getting caught, after I installed this, I never had that issue again.
When you are about to print using the software that comes with the flash forge make sure to add in auto supports. The extra supports create a more solid foundation the farther you print up.
Hi,
this looks like a temperature problem.
The higher you go, the longer are the ways for the extruder. The layers can not melt together.
Try to rise the extruder temp in 5° steps .

My initial guess is the part is shifting as you go up. Judging from the picture it looks like you’re printing with vase mode? Those walls are going to be pretty flimsy toward the top, and with that design the nozzle could be pushing the walls out, causing the extruded plastic to not stick. I would try printing the same model without vase mode using thicker walls and see if it still happens. If it still happens then you could rule out flexing as the issue.

The only time I bet this is when the filament is catching and not extruding fast enough - it only happens at the top because you’ve disturbed the problem when you start the print. Yours could be temperature related too but I suspect that if you print the same thing at 200% you would get the same gaps much lower down.
