Hi. My name is Mike and I need to HIRE someone to help me level and calibrate a 3D printer in our middle school on Long Island.

We have a Lulzbot Taz 5 and we are having trouble getting it to work properly, as it still needs to go through the initialization process since we received a new print head. My principal said we would pay whomever helped us fix this.

Our IT people are unable to help us, but they would provide you with an IT aide to help with administrative access for updating software, etc.

There shouldnt be any software change needed to swap the print head assembly as long as its the same type. Unscrew the bolt holding it to the carriage, unplug cables at it. plug new ones in, screw in to carriage. Basically the same as this but no software change needed OHAI: Open Hardware Assembly Instructions

Bed leveling is something you will want to know since it may need to be done once in a while. Follow quick start guide starting at step 15. https://download.lulzbot.com/KITTAZ/documentation/setup\_guide/quick\_start\_guide\_rev5.pdf When you get to the paper sliding step, you want to feel slight tugging on the paper but be able to push it forward without the paper bending. Do it enough times and you get real good at it.

Mike, I run 4 Lulzbot Taz 5’s and know them inside & out. I run a shop in Santa Monica called Kapow! 3D. I have thousands of hours of experience with the machines. Unfortunately, being in Santa Monica and you in New York, that might make it difficult to assist.
