I’m in need of some help to take an image trace in illustrator to make simple pathways that can be exported as SVG into 123d design. I also need to understand the correct stroke width to use to make cookie cutters that cut sugar dough. I keep making them too fat and they don’t cut. For example, how thin will be strong enough for ultimaker2.

You may want to also look at InkScape to convert your jpg line image to an svg file. Free software and quite easy to work with.
Just a word of caution that I just found out : 3D printing has many gaps in between the layers, and this is where bacteria grows. This and ABS are not considered food safe products, unless you are using a special filament.
