why is this happening I have a creality Ender 3 I’m using abs

Temps, speeds, slicer?

Likely printing too fast and is a part cooling fan on?

I was printing at 245 speed was 68 I might have figured it out. I had the filament size at 2.8 or something when it’s actually 1.75 I tried a new print that I haven’t done before which was a lot larger and it was warping I had the bed temp at 110 but I dropped that down to 70 trying out all the new settings now thank you for your response

O and I dropped the speed down to 38 at one point that didn’t help I’m guessing it’s the filament size that was screwing it all up this is the first 3D printer I’ve ever owned I’m still trying to figure out all the settings

what are your thoughts on this picture I turned the temp down to 225 I thought all those little dots meant it was to hot

What material is this? I assumed ABS from the temps.
Basic temps for ABS would be 100-105 bed for a smaller piece like this.
230-240 for the extruder and no fan.
60-65 bed for PLA and 195-205 with fan after first layer.

Speeds I would say 30-40 mm/s until you get great looking prints then you can go faster if it allows.

The second green part looks like over extrusion.

It is abs I know it’s got to be some thing I’m doing wrong when I save files to the sd card because the test print that came on the printer comes out pretty good

I’d start out with PLA if I were you. Much easier to work with.

Main thing is get everything back to defaults and start from there.

What slicer?
