Hey! So I bought a monoprice select mini and bought a PEI sheet for it but am having a problem with the printer automatically trying to set the base z value to the default baseplate height, which is now too low. Thanks! I’m using Cura 15.04.6 (It’s what came with the printer, should prob upgrade)
You need a spacer to trigger the limit switch sooner. Same as when you add a glass bed, Monoprice Select Mini Glass Bed Spacer by Sumpy - Thingiverse it all depends on how thick your PEI sheet is but you might have to design your own to get the right thickness. Either way it’s a simple mod. Though you will need to do some disassembly.
