Hello! I wanted to share the beautiful project I am involved in: It is call Moyupi and what we do is basically turning children’s drawings into unique 3D printed, hand painted toys.
Yesterday evening we finally launched our Kickstarter campaign, and it is being a success! We need to reach our 10000€ goal in order to keep this idea alive and empower children of the world to create. Here you can take a look at the campaign itself, the video is translated to 14 languages and we offer juicy rewards for those who donate:

We put a lot of effort to take care of every detail in all the steps of the manufacturing process, from modelling to building, smoothing, painting and finishing. There is more info in the page but we use the impressive Zortrax, a cold acetone bath for smoothing, airbrush and brush for aplying color and varnish for a nice, durable finnish.
The idea is to surprise children with a personal, one of a kind creature designed fully by themselves to play with! Plus it is more likely to remain for future generations to admire than a paper drawing :P.
What do you think about it? Please please please, if you consider it is worth it and/or know of media interested in publishing this, spread the word! We will be forever grateful :D.
