veryone just letting everyone know that the monthly 3D printing meetup here in Edmonton Alberta (YEG) is tonight thursday march 23rd starting at 6:30 pm downtown at the startup Edmonton building (301, 10359 - 104 Street) No events tonight at Rogers place to theres free parking along any street after 6 pm (1800)
On tonights list is Kyle will be doing a presentation on how to put the final finishes on 3D printed parts to make them look better, using acetone vapor smoothing and other techniques. He also has some demo pieces to show, as well as a demo of the setup and other parts needed for the methods he uses.
Donald will be doing a short presentation on how he used 3D printing to build his very impressive light saber. If you are curious about these sorts of things, this is a really interesting project to see.
As always if any attendees have anything they would like to show off, please feel free to bring your project along and tell us a little bit about it.
This meetup will be in the smaller meeting room which is across the hall from the large meeting room.
