I’ve been hacking on this thing all day trying to reduce the stringing but I’m making virtually no progress (Cura 3.0.4).
I’ve drawn out the retract as far as 10mm and the print get’s really bad there, so 2.5 up to 10 in about 1mm increments with zero improvement.
I’ve enabled coasting at .064 (.4 nozzle ^3)
no improvement.
I’ve added a z-hop of 1mm and I’ve increased travel speed to 150mm
no provement.
It’s almost like the retraction settings aren’t being used, there is zero difference between 2.5mm and 8mm, though 10mm just globs PLA out.
my test print is 2x 3mm towers 20mm high and 10mm apart.
Thoughts?
(Hatchbox black pla at 200C, print speed 150mm)
