Hello,

I have had this printer for a month or so.

I went to print something today and turned it on. The Bed temperature listed on the screen says 0. If I select preheat, nothing happens and it does not get warm.

The hot end reads ok and lists a temp on the screen.

Does anybody know the issue here and what I can do to fix it?

thanks,

tim

This happened to me. The bed would heat intermittently, depending on where the bed was located, front or back. Only solution was to replace it. The wires appeared solidly soldered and nothing visibly wrong, but the connection was broken somewhere. I could make or break the circuit by wiggling the wires. Adding more tape to the underside of the bed held the wires better but it was not a good solution and didnt always work. Again i had to send it back.

I had the same problem. The wires under the bed are close to the gears and the bed. I found that mine was rubbing and pinching on the bed and eventually snapped. I had to splice in some new and patch it up. Works great now.

I had to replace my fan wires for the same reason. Depending on where the hotend was located the fan would or wouldnt work.
