Hi Everyone, just got a MMSP printer about two months ago. It has been printing great so far but me being the tinkerer I am, decided that I needed to upgrade. I opted to purchase a Y carriage plate and while I had the machine apart did the ADVI3++ flash. Now the prints look absolutely horrible…
I had already done the Z brace mod and was printing fine before these two upgrades. See photos of a printer test that my printer absolutely destroyed (Printed using white Monoprice PLA) and my settings in Cura.
So far my mods are:
- Z Brace support
- Y Carriage Plate
- ADVI3++ (I have run the tunes for: extruder (had 50mm left rather than 20mm…), XYZ cube, and PID tuning.)
Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated!! It would be horrible if I ruined this printer in the process of the upgrades…
