Hey guys,
Just thought I would share my updated mini monster truck because everyone loved the last one but it was a bit too big for most people to print out! The old one was about 100 hours to print, this one is about 60 hours (with flexy tyres) or about 45 hours with solid filament tyres. This chassis can be printed on one bed (about 207mm long 93 mm wide), total size is 207mm long, 210mm wide, 130mm tall.
The working suspension has been upgraded as has all the clip in windows and clip together wheels. The suspension linkage prints all in one piece then you just remove the support and insert the springs and it is ready to go! I’ve made the design freely available here.
Printed all in ABS except for the tyres (NinjaFlex), with various layers (2-3) and infill percentages (10-20%).
I hope you guys like it, if you have any suggestions as to what type of body/chassis you want to see I’d love to know because i want to create a whole range of working cars and trucks.

What parameters did you use for printing with NinjaFlex?
Thanks Lab3dprint! I use the same settings I do for abs except I lower the bed temp to 50C and the printing speed I lower to 30mm/s, 2 layers 15% rectilinear infill. I find it’s really nice to print once it’s started.

Thanks 3dprintingguy, yeah this one should be a bit more feasible to print for them. I would recommend glueing the suspension mounts to the chassis in addition to the clip system if the kids are going to go all destructive on it haha
