Hi, my name is alex. I’ve had my ctc for around two years now, and recently it has started to act up.
Now, when I turn it on, the initialization beep does not execute anymore which sounds like short series of beeps with a melody. Now, it just has a single beep the repeats over and over and over.
Before, I was able to get around this problem by just pressing the reset button at back, which instantly made the printer boot. But now, even that has stop working.
I took the board completely apart for inspection but I did not find any obvious problems. It actually worked for a bit after I put the board back, but now its doing it again.
Just one single beep…?
Any help or advice would be great.

So does the printer display anything on the screen and can your print for an sd card or if not by computer?

Yes, the display works and displays what its suppose to. It display the Sailfish Firmware version. However, the display also pulsates along with the single beep. Nothing happens until I hear the series of tones. Only then will it start working and communicating with the computer and/or print.
