I would lije to 3d print a deformed skull of a patient I have to operate for correction. I have a 3D CT scan which is a dicom file. what do I do next ?

Hi there !
I guess the print is for explaining the changes that you have to make in the operation or something like that (i want to know this because the purpose is important to know so that you/the hub chooses the correct material).
For presentation, materials like ABS or PLA are a good choise. If there are other requirements like food safety or certain physical properties then please contact me. Nylon would also be a solid choise, it has a very smooth surface and prints complex geometries with ease, the Nylon that i offer is especially good for overhanging parts of which there might me some in a skull.
Most printers and hubs need .obj or .stl files, i have a software that should (not jet tested) be able to convert the dicom file into an .stl
I could instandly turn my printer on to make the skull for you in a wide range of different materials, contact me if you are interested.
