Wondering if anyone has experimented with alternative paper and glue suppliers and found any that work satisfactorily. We are currently using the suggested Viking Business paper and MCor glue, but at about £60 a bottle delivered, this seems to be a bit of a rip off for the official stuff, when a similar bottle of PVA can be bought for £1 or £2.
We have tried one or two we bought from Amazon, but both were a little too thick. It’s probably possible to water it down, but if there’s an off the shelf one with the right consistency and at the right price, it seems logical to be using it instead.

it’s not just the consistence, it’s the curing. The glue needs to stay uncured till the glueing is finished and than cure instantly if temperature is above 60°C. Thats why a just dried glue feels always a bit “rubbery”.
I would not try to switch the Mcor glue… and we sell the bottle for €50, thats £44 and not £60… plus shipping.
