We have a MarkForged Mark 1 Standard that we’d like to sell. We are located in Northamptonshire, UK.
It currently has 40d 0h 12m total print time, for 106 completed prints.
Comes with partial roll of carbon filament, and 50cm3 of fibreglass filament unopened. Original box with most of the packing materials, plus the drybox to hold the nylon filament. Original tool kit with flash USB, etc.
This printer uses the Eiger online software which we have loved from day one, and they keep putting software improvements out very frequently. It connects up Wi-Fi and all software updates are push button. Prints over Wi-Fi as well. Been so easy to use, we’ve been really impressed with how the guys at MarkForged have implemented their software. It has worked flawless for us.
Prints nylon, carbon, kevlar, and fibreglass. We have found to be the perfect material for our needs. We’ve been printing moulds for composite parts as well as nylon inlays that get sandwiched in our composite layups. Been a great little printer and sad to see it go, but we have less need for it now that one of our projects has come to completion.
It currently does not have the tiny heat shield that surrounds the nozzle head. On a failed print this got goobered up and we’ve removed it and continued printing without replacing it. The print bed is almost as new. We’ve been careful to never use sharp objects on it.
