I need to make sense of these numbers. Over what geographic do these numbers apply? And for what moment in time?
Is it possible to get numberds for just New York City–the five boroughs, not the whole metropolitan region?
I *think* the numbers indicate the number of printers available for work among the companies that are part of the 3dhubs.com network. Is that true?
is there anyone who can talk about the number of companies and employees in NYC that somehow use 3DP technology?

Hey Charlie,
These numbers tell you how many printers operate with 3D hubs in different cities. MoM stands for Month on Month so the growth is the percentage of additional printers which join 3D hubs over this period of time. The number does not indicate how many are ready for work, just how many are signed up with 3D hubs as some may be counted if they are offline. I’m not sure what the geographical area is for these cities, but someone working within 3D hubs should be able to find out.
I hope this helps. If you have any further questions just ask.

Very helpful. Thank you VERY much.
So Month over Month means from February 2016 to March 2016?
I am desperate to find numbers for the number of 3DP businesses and jobs lie within the boundaries of NYC–the five boroughs. Are there any estimates or tallies? I know it’s too new an industry to fall under old categories.

I’m glad I could helps you out. Month in Month does mean from February to March. I’m not sure on which exact date they use but I presume it will be from the 1st to the 1st. I’m unaware of any tallies for the amount if printers at the boulders. Personally I believe 3D hubs will not go into this detail as it would take far too long to manage and update.
