Hey all. So my makebot rep 2 is starting to show her age. I’ve been having cooling fan issues and it’s looking like it is a blown MOSFET. So fixing this is a bit out of my wheel house, so ig there is anyone in toronto who knows how to fix this pleas hit me up. I’ll pay you with cash abd hi-fives! Thanks all!

beleiveit or not I sent makerbot a letter telling them how much I loved my rep 2 when the mosfets went kaplooey and how I couldnt afford a new board which was very true :-)…but I filled my letter with praise on the machine as I have also had mine a few years not sure what number my bot is
anyhoo …they sent me a brand new board with compliments …I was very Happily surprised and was up and rnning again within a week

good on em eh …they treated me great

cheers

Just connect it to a 12v power source and hook up a toggle switch. Turn it on or off base on what you are printing.

near the fan pin there is a black rectangular with 3 pins, that’s the not working component. you can find it on Rs.com 3

Hey. That would be awesome! If you can email me at info@zombiemeatstudio.ca we can get this going
