Hello there. I’m still really new to 3d printing and I have a question about the Maker Ultimate for anyone who has that model. I’m specifically asking about the initialization process when I start a print. The printer will heat up the hotend and then move the bed up to the starting position. When this happens, the print bed actually presses into the hotend for a few seconds before lowering again. Is that normal? It made a mark on the printing surface where the hotend appeared to melt it. I’ve also had a few issues with the nozzle clogging and wonder if that’s related. Any suggestions you could offer would be really appreciated. Thanks!
