Does anyone know how close these two models are? If I buy parts for the wanhao will it work with the monoprice maker select v2? Cant seem to find many parts when searching for it. Thanks!
Yes. Maker Select is Wanhao branded under different name. The only thing I would suggest it making sure versions match.
I do believe that wanhao is the producer of the monoprice units. I think the parts are interchangeable. I would check one of the monoprice Facebook groups.
As others have said, they are the same machine but Wanhao has made revisions to the machine over time and some parts may be slightly different from previous versions. According to which part you need, you will need to check that it matches the revision you have.
Its a clone, with a few upgrades on the v2 like thumb wheel screws. I have the monoprice maker v2 personally
The Monoprice printer is a rebranded Wanhao. Parts for the Duplicator 3 should be drop in on the Monoprice
