Hi,everyone, this is Monika from Novomaker. Our team is building a platform of repository of 3D printable designs. The print control is web-based on cloud. Now our fist compatible machine is Ultimaker 2 and we have the demo for test. So I am looking for people who have ultimaker 2 to help us do test print and send us feedback. Participants will get coupon for awesome models to print from our platform.

Let me explain how to test it:

  1. Open the website http://www.novomaker.com in web browser(Chrome/Firefox) in windows7/8.1 (make sure the address withhttp:// , otherwise it will not work)

  2. Print the robot that we prepare as sample model and test the following aspects, write notes about how it works and problems encountered, with screenshot if possible.

(1)Placement

(2)parameter settings

(3)cloud slicing

(4) printing process control.

There is a question mark on the bottom of the page, click which you can report any problem and feedback to us. (this will be seen by our engineer)You can write name “Meta to Monika” , I’ll work with our engineer to fix and get you back ASAP.

Thanks for the clear explanation, i’m actually more of maker than a designer but i’m learning design by myself. I’m also part of the Ultimaker moderators (on the forum) and quite involved with them.

I’ll try to test as soon as possible (probably this weekend)

I am not sure, if I got the idea of what you are doing. Do you want to set up a 3d model sharing plattform? Good idea. I have been looking at your Website. Wanted to know, where you are located. I guess you already know, you MUST implement an Impressum at your website? And why am I forced to install an application, before I can have a look at something? I will never install applications from unknows sources. Please spent some more time in concept of your web design.

And another thing, I dont understand: Why should I participate? Coupons?

We are located in Beijing. We are still developing the website and the application is on the process of Symantec approval. So it won’t be an “unknown” app.

Yes we will have coupons for people who helped us for sure. Maybe more giveaways.

Hey Monika iv just joined 3D hubs tonight id love to take part and this would be my first thing. Iv just started working for Ultimaker GB this year i repair there machines. Two of my best friends opened the company a couple of years ago but i only started getting into it about 4-5 months ago, and i can’t get enough of it. Iv got access to all models of Ultimaker printer and would love to help out.
