Greetings makers. After a couple fun weeks of bed leveling and temp adjusting, I have moved on to the joy that is Fusion 360. After about 26 different prints, my prototype is finally ready for metal. Are there any reputable and not stupid expensive CNC shops around Seattle that anyone has used for prototypes? Just aluminum is fine, but if there is any titanium specialists, that would be cool too. Thanks in advance for any info.

Were in Tacoma and have a full CNC shop! Check us out FablabTacoma.com let us know what you need.

Hello, we’re Proto Technologies Inc. we have a full CNC machine shop and specialize in prototyping. My name is Stephen, I’m our account manager here in Seattle you can reach me at 206 379 8860, stephenb@prototech.com, or www.prototech.com. We’re very reputable, and have been in business for over 20 years.

I may be able to help. I am a hobbyist with a lot of cool tools in my home shop, including a Tormach mill and lathe, Epilog laser cutter, 3D printers, and a small injection molder. . I use them mostly for my own prototyping but don’t mind helping out a fellow maker every once in a while like I do with the printing.

This makes me a great fit for certain types of projects, and not so great for others. I’ll let you decide and contact me if interested in discussing. 425.686.8612
