Hello,

My name is Floris Koopmans, I do the marketing for Zeelander Yachts.

At our company, we will soon we will be releasing a new yacht model and we would like to let our owners know in a creataive way that it’s coming.

As a gift we would like to send them three miniature yacht models of our existing yacht range. I would like to know what the possibilities would be in 3D printing.

3x30 models would have to be printed in 20cm, 25cm and 30cm. That would make a total of 90 miniature models. I was wondering what possibilities there are in materials, what level of detail we would be able to achieve and what the price of a batch like this would cost.

We obviously have 3D drawings of each yacht but I assume they are not 3D print ready. I would need someone to do this for us.

Looking forward to discuss further.

kind regards,

Floris Koopmans

Hi Floris!

You have come to the right place! That is something many hubs could help you with…including mine (https://www.3dhubs.com/service/3drapidprints). You can also search for a hub yourself (not all hubs monitor Talk). Click the red “Start Manufacturing” button at the top right of the screen. Upload any old file (even if it is unrelated to your project), scroll down and choose a common material like PLA, click “manually select a hub”, and browse the endless list of hubs for one that you think will fit the job. When you find one, click the hub name, then click “view hub”, then click “contact” and describe your project.

Good luck!

Goedemiddag Floris,

Bij deze toch nog even de vraag of je inmiddels iemand hebt kunnen vinden om je te helpen.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Maarten van Maanen
