Hi guys,

In the past, many of you reached out to us about the option of offering discounts to your customers, whether to attract new ones, encourage repeat business, or reward your best.

In our experience, discounts have proved to be an important tool for growth, which is why we want to offer you the option to use it as well with your customers.

So in order to better understand your needs, we put together this 3-minute questionnaire: This typeform has moved 3
If there’s anything else you want to add, feel free to leave a comment below.

Cheers,

Gabriela

Done!

But not sure what “Name the Number” was suppose to be… only allowed numeric input too…

Discounts should be editable…
Random discount codes of different % or $off for various promotions.
Forever codes for long standing customers, or customers who referr.

Time limited promos for holidays etc…

I completed the survey as well. Based on the questions, I’m not sure 3D Hubs understands what we’re asking for though (so it’s probably good you’re asking for our input!).

TLDR: I’ll take whatever I can get. But, to be as useful as it could be for driving business, improving loyalty, etc., we need multiple discount types and amounts.

Full Comment: I echo the comments made by @JATMN. We need to be able to edit them as necessary. I have use cases for 1-time use discount codes, codes that are good forever for a certain percentage off, codes that would remove the startup fee, but not apply any other discount, codes that are good for a set time period, codes that tell me where I was referred from (such as local groups I’ve done work for in the past), varying discount amounts for each, from a 10% referral discount to a 25% “Best Customer” discount, etc. Even manually discounting, by adding an “additional charge” for a negative amount could work if a customer mentions a key word, or the name of the person referring them.

Thanks for working with us on this!

I fully agree with @Hartatak62 especially the last part… Adding “additional charge” or discount manually is a must… Discount for inconveniences or delays or word of mouth discount. “mention you saw my youtube video” or whatever…

Any news here @gabriela3d ?

I can give you a real life example here.
I’m about to start co-operate with a company designing a product, I’ve helped them with printing prototypes but they want me to be able to send their customers to my hub for printing it. In this case it would be great if I could create a coupon for that company COMPANYNAME2017 for example, that they can give to their customers, and this will give them a 20% discount on my hub.
