Hi everyone,
I’m more mechanically minded than electronics so please be gentle.

My leapfrog has recently stopped working (it won’t fire up fully) and the support ticket has been ignored by their support team (grrrrr).

I think the problem may be the motherboard - so my question is:

Can I simply change the board from my old mendelmax 1.5 printer with the one in the leapfrog?

Any comments would be appreciated.

For those who are interested in the fault with the leapfrog - it powers up, the screen works, but it stalls at the ‘starting up’ page, the screen goes white for a few seconds, then reverts back to the starting up page and repeats continuously.

Thanks

Same style steppers? If the Leapfrog is already dead, you aren’t going to kill it more dead, right? I highly doubt you’re going to burn anything up on the printer itself. Not sure what this will do for the existing screen though. You’d still be able to print via PC/laptop at minimum. I would personally give it a shot, but that’s just me.
