I have a Form 2 printer and live/work in the greater Los Angeles area (Valencia, 91355). A printer I would think that would have a high demand. I have set up, IMHO, a nice looking hub with many pics, lots of info, we invoice, ship, pickup, have a huge variety of resin in stock, etc. So far about 1,000 views and not one order.
Is this normal? Are our prices too high or anything else you can think of that might be turning people away? https://www.3dhubs.com/los-angeles/hubs/qmp-inc

The Form 2 is used a lot for detailed sculptures and prop making; I’d suggest printing some models from online and putting those on your Hub! If someone wants something of that nature printed, but doesn’t see any pictures on your Hub about it, it could turn them off to doing business with you.

You can’t expect orders right away especially after just starting a hub. Ratings do influence customer’s hub pick so maybe get friends and family to make a order a leave reviews. Also you are not the only Hub in LA with a Form 2 printer it looks like so you have competition and it also may be that potential customers in your location are not looking for resin prints but are going with cheaper alternatives such as generic plastics.
Don’t forget to use social media to your advantage. Instagram and twitter are very useful tool to drive customers.

I realize I cannot expect orders right away, it has been almost month. I was hoping for about 1 a month…so I have some time still
I also realize I have a lot of competition…i figured that would be my #1 reason not to get orders
@Enza3D
Thanks for the tip, I actually have printed a couple sculptures/models which I had forgotten about. I will post them as well!

It may also be worth your while to build a small (cheap) photo studio to photograph your prints with. Mine is just 2-3 LED lights in hoods from Home Depot, and some paper. It makes a huge difference in the quality of the photo.

Hi @qmpusa a month really isn’t that long and as others have said, your visibility right now will be low because you’ve no orders, no reviews. It is a catch-22 situation, but if your hub looks good and you’re competitive with prices, you will get orders and your position in results should rise, leading to more orders and so on.
I’m FDM only (at the moment) so I can’t speak from experience, but as @twiesner suggested, SLA prints are likely to be a little more specialist so it could be that the early days (weeks, months) will be slower than with FDM.
