Lately, we’ve been working on this new PLA that mimics high-performance materials (e.g. Ultem) when it comes to strength, but it’s a lot easier to work with. It’s possible to apply on many more printers, therefore doesn’t require any expensive industrial devices to begin with.
If you had the opportunity, what would you print with such a material? We’re very curious to hear from you. Any ideas are more than welcome!
Want to bring this idea to a realization? We’d be happy to give you the power to do so by sending you a free sample! Interested? Check us out on www.tiamet3d.com and join our mailing list (no spam, we promise ;)) or contact us.
That sounds like a cool idea! Thanks for sharing. Do you have a lot experience with printing bike parts? Also, if you’re interested in actually printing those pedal parts, check out our website and sing up for the free sample!
Thinking about some custom tooling for retro bicycles. Also from Holland and working with a Cartesio W from Jos @ Maukcc. Would love to test your samples. Do you have some tech info of the filament? Where are you guys located?
Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. On the following link you can find some tech info and printing parameters: http://www.tiamet3d.com/material-guide
If you’re still interested in testing the samples, please drop me your details on info@tiamet3d.com
