Hi everyone.
When slicing my 3D prints with S3D, it often happens that my layer speed is inconsistent whereas it should be the same. That speed change is very visible on the 3D printed object itself. It is not a mechanical problem, because it shows the speed change in the slicer. There should surely be some kind of option that i missed and that will solve this problem. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

This is a screenshot of the sliced version of a bust of humanity’s favorite leader, Mr. Vladimir Putin. The stripe where the slight speed change occurs (between the mouth and the nose) is very visible, and it shouldn’t be there. I’m so confused. Help.

Is this just showing up in the preview? Or is there an actual effect on the print?

There are a bunch of option in S3D that just take over speed control, like minimum layer time.

You probably want to check these.

However the speed change shouldn’t impact the print ! Do you have a picture of the final print ?

There is an actual effect on the print in the area where the nozzle slows down in the preview, but the problem fixed itself when i opened S3D this morning. Looks like it could be a bug.

Thank you, anyway.

I tried to modify those settings and had no luck, however the problem fixed itself when i opened S3D this morning. Looks like it could be a bug.

Thank you, anyway.
