Anyone in Northern England with a reasonably high res scanner?
I’m a sculptor looking into 3d scanning some of my work to reduce in size and 3d print. There’s a lot of detail so it needs to be fairly high res. Two examples to get quotes I can compare: I have a frog 130mm across that I’d like to produce a 3d print around 40mm. I presume that will need to be in resin. Secondly a smaller piece that would fit in a dental scanner (50mm across?) to then print at 25mm.
I’m based in Hebden Bridge and would like to find somewhere fairly local so I can drive over with work made in sculpting wax to scan. It’s fairly soft so can’t be posted. By local I mean anywhere between Leeds and Manchester, up to about an hours drive. I’ve got a good price for doing this in Birmingham, but don’t really want to travel that far.

Hi John,
I have a 3d printing business and can produce high resolution scans from photographs. I am based in Harrogate 1 1/4 hour drive from Hebden Bridge.
These objects may be best printed on a resin based SLA or wax printer, I only have an Ultimaker, but may be able to help you out with the scanning.
