I am brand new to 3d Printing, I have watched a ton of videos, and I am fully aware of the amount of work that is needed to get a printer to be functional. With that said, I could use some help, my wife gave me my first printer (CTC BIZER) today (Christmas) and I have it all set up, no loose connections, everything seems fine. I run the start up script level the plate, but when I get to feeding the filament, I push it through the extruder streams some out no problem, after about 4 seconds however, white smoke comes from the extruder, and I get an software heat limit error: 1 message. This is every time I run the printer. I Desperately need some help. Its becoming a Christmas nightmare!

It sounds like a Manufacturers Defect. I would strongly recommend exchanging it for a new working model to prevent any further complications down the road.
Thank you, I was meaning to update. I figured out the issue, it was my extruder setting being to high. When I lowered the temp to 190 and ran the startup script. I let it continue to extrude for a few minutes and no error. Now I just need to get the thing to read my sd card. Because it came with no SD card or instruction manual.
