I was thinking about some things that could be very handy on my point of view:

  1. Having a news feed (or just a single longtext) by hub could be great in order to display news about the hub (holidays, last great print, events, when we will be publihed in colorFabb newsletter ;))
  2. A gcode file (or another type of file, perhaps (printer settings, … )) by order could improve customer satisfaction and could get a more easy / quick to print for the hub
  3. A note by order could also be great. This could be used to tell what problem you encountered on this print and in addition with point 2, you can, for example, tell why you set those settings.

Thanks for the reading and let me know

-> by the way… it’s Friday when Gloomy Spark will be mentioned!

As far as I know #1 is currently in development, but with no release date set so far.

#2 and #3 are basically what the comment section in each order is for. There the customer can tell you specific settings, that you should use and vice versa you can explain to your customer before, during and after the printing, which problems you’ve encountered, what you had to adjust, how the print worked out, how the customer could improove his model (a.e. acetone smoothing) and anything else, that you’d like to tell your customer.

If this isn’t, what you mean, please describe in more detail, what features you’d like to see.

Cheers,

Marius Breuer

#1 Great

#2 and #3 were not intended to be public. The customer does not have to have a way to bypass 3DHubs and the hub know-how. In addition, by segmenting the filetype, 3DHubs could dramastically improve speed and quality by giving a gcode and settings that will work on your printer if the print has already been made (Think about Teleport…)

It’s also a pleasure to see you back, Gabriela!

I’ll post a request there! Thanks for the tip!
