For the frame try Aluminium extrusion, such as those sold at www.motedis.co.uk (no afilliation to me). Its relatively cheap, quite heavy, gives a nice solid weight to the frame. Plus its a very easy way to connect parts to the frame. One tip - get the ends machined, this puts a thread down the center to make screwing them together easier.

Acrylic for the enclosure, most places will cut to size.

For the feet, try rubber door stops with a screw through them. From the $ store!

Copper or PVC pipe for the filament reel holder, most diy/hardware places will have this and a variety of fittings.

Precision rails and linear bearings were the most expensive parts.

Also try a thermoplastic like polymorph - this is a great way of making custom attachments to join extrusion to linear slide for example. At least, until you can print a more precise part!

For z axis, try some m5 threaded rod. You can make a cheap leadscrew nut out of a regular hex nut, some steelstik, and a pillar bearing mount. But, beware of backlash.

On your budget, its definitely do-able - good luck!

I pretty much agree with all this, sounds like a good path to go down on your budget…

Good Luck with it!
