How to convert vrml or ply or obj fullcolor into different stl objects

Hi everybody. Suppose that we have a full color 3d scan and we want to print it using a 4 extruder printer. Is there any tool that allowes us to reduce the scan down to 4 colors?

After that, Is there any tool that allows us to generate 4 different stl objects starting from a 4 color 3d drawing?
