How much mm is a filament spool?

Hi, I was wondering an aproximate number to tell me how much mm of filament does a spool of 1kg (2.2lb) give. I know you can print about 300 something chess pieces but I need to know a spool is about how much mm of filament. thanks.

These are estimates:

ABS: 1.75 mm 392 meter/Kg
PLA: 1.75 mm 333 meter/Kg
PET: 1.75 mm 301 meter/Kg
Nylon: 1.75 mm 365 meter/Kg

There is also a formula you can use to workout the length

Length=mass/(density x Pi X (diameter/2)^2)

density of filament depends upon type PLA is ~1.24g / CM^3 where as ABS is1.03g /CM^3 Pi = 3.14

If your supplier is a good one they should be able to say the length upon reel as it’s based upon volumetric weight. A 750gram of PLA only has 251.5 metres compared to 335.3 metres on 1Kg reel
