How do I get a absorbent structure with LAY-FELT?

Hi,

I have tried the LAY-FELT filament for some days now. I want to get a absorbent surface like in the attached images but have not succeeded, the surface is not “fluffy” or absorbant at all. I use a Replicator 2. Does anyone have any ideas?

i never usesd it, but did you check this video?

if i understood correctly you have to “rinse” the printeed object first (1-4 days) ?!

Hi, yes I have seen the video. I have washed it for a pretty long time in an ultra sonic bath. It does however not become as “felty” and absorbent as it seems to be in the photo… :S
