Let’s keep the chatter going… I’ve linked both HEMP 3DP thread here and I would love to see some more activity. It now seems we have at least TWO efforts to bring HEMP into the 3DP arena and the next hurdle is getting some samples out to people to try.

Hi, yesterday the boss of Kanesis told me that the Hemp filament will be available within this year. In our experience this filament Has given good result, it look Like laywood but its more omogeneus in the colour and you can’t feel the striation. Its Also 100% biodegradable and have good mechanical properties. I think, when it will be ready for the market, that it could replace the Abs to do the gears of 3d printer.

Here there are some pictures… all the object was printed at 0.2 mm and the diameter of the filament goes from 1.24 to 2.05
