I’m brand new to 3D printing and using an unmodified Maker Select V2. I’ve been trying to print a mount for a MOSFET. I’ve tried 2 different models. In both cases the print has gone fine, until it gets to the vertical tubes the board will rest on. In both cases, when it starts printing these, the extruder only sporadically prints, giving me a latticework that doesn’t stick together instead of the solid tube. I’ve included a picture of what is happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What are your slicer settings?

how thick is the wall setting for the tube, looks to me like it needs to be thickened. have you run model thru a printing check before commiting to plastic? StevetheBuddistXXX

My first assumption would also be that the wall thickness is too thin. Since your printer has a .4mm nozzle, the wall must also be at least .4mm thick. However, if you want it to be relatively sturdy, I would recommend setting the thickness in CAD to 1.6mm and setting your slicer settings to 2 perimeters. This way the nozzle will take 4 passes of the circle each layer greatly increasing its strength.
