Whenever i start printing a file that i uploaded to the printer using the software given to me i always encounter the same issue. The fillment naver makes contact with the build plate. However the cat gcode always prints out fine what do i do.
If it’s the famous Lucky Cat gcode file distributed with the Monoprice Select Mini, then it’s printing with a raft. Doing such can cover up a multitude of bed level issues. I used rafts on everything when I first got my Mini, my prints wouldn’t stick to the bed if I didn’t. It took me weeks to grok what bed leveling really entails.
Could be your first layer height is too high. Try lowering the first layer setting. It is usually a percentage of your layer height selection but can be a micron measurement in some cases. Also in addition to that, you could raise the extrusion rate for the first layer by 25% or so to help with adhesion.
