Assuming you did level the bed you could try to adjust the Z offset in tiny steps to bring the nozzle closer to the bed. What slicer are you using?

If it’s the famous Lucky Cat gcode file distributed with the Monoprice Select Mini, then it’s printing with a raft. Doing such can cover up a multitude of bed level issues. I used rafts on everything when I first got my Mini, my prints wouldn’t stick to the bed if I didn’t. It took me weeks to grok what bed leveling really entails.

Could be your first layer height is too high. Try lowering the first layer setting. It is usually a percentage of your layer height selection but can be a micron measurement in some cases. Also in addition to that, you could raise the extrusion rate for the first layer by 25% or so to help with adhesion.

please help my printer keeps stopping in the middle of the print and wont start again

I own a iiip mini select but I don’t know how to fix this problem.
