I just finished putting my Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro W 3d printer together and am having some issues.
Mechanically- The smooth rods cause the Z axis to bind/stop. I’ve removed one rod, drilled the holes wider and unscrewed the screws around the smooth rod guides on the axis carriage. Ive managed to get it to print with 1 smooth rod.
Printing - The prints I do manage to create look very off. The layers appear to be 0.1 mm, as specified, but every 1mm or so the axis shifts regularly. It is as if the layer thickness is processed twice and the second round is at a 1mm resolution.
I can print a new X axis carriage, but I need the prints to stop shifting every mm or so. Thanks for the help.
