hello and thanks for taking the time to read my post! A couple days ago I ordered an anet a8 Amazon delivered it this morning a little bit before 12 and I was hype as hell haha I ended up building it all up by just about 5pm now I’ve built computers before for years and I’m no stranger to flashing but for some reason I cannot get the y axis to flow properly! I’ve been looking it up for hours now and the only answers I’ve been able to find were that 1# anet could of sent me a y cable that has the wrong polarity, my cable configuration is wrong and the y cable is hooked to the wrong engine (not possible I’ve gone up and down everything) or that I could easily fix a problem like they by flashing something like marlin onto my a8. So that’s just what I did I flashed marlin 1.1.x after reading a couple articles about it and now I just feel like my problem gas gotten even worse. On the main information screen x y and z flash if I try Changing the home location marlin throws and error called error: Too far! And to top it all off my y axis still only wants to go backwards.
But if I try to move it manually it works just fine. Honestly all I’ve wanted to do was print something small and feel half way accomplished. I’m not giving up, I just don’t have a single clue how to fix an issue like this…
I can provide pictures of the shitty temporary wiring I have right now until I can sort out the problem, also if
